Greetings from Chef Jacques |
|
We’re excited for the holidays here at L’Auberge Chez Franҫois. The holiday decorations are going up, our favorite seasonal dishes are on the menu, and we have some of our most popular and decadent special events on the schedule for the coming months. Our first holiday singalong will be held on December 4, and there will be a Champagne cooking demonstration on December 9. The upcoming holidays also mean a rush for reservations in November and December, so I’ve posted our holiday schedule on our website. We will begin accepting Christmas Eve reservations on November 12. We’ll also be open on the last three Mondays in December to accommodate everyone who wants to celebrate the season here with us. Click here to see our holiday hours.
We’re proud to have been named Restaurant of the Year by the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association. “We are truly honored to be recognized by such an esteemed group of colleagues,” said Chef Jacques Haeringer, Proprietor and Executive Chef. “My brother Paul and I wish to sincerely thank our entire dedicated team for all their hard work that made this award possible, and of course, our patrons who have supported us in Great Falls for over 40 years”. Both Jacques Brasserie and L’Auberge Chez François will continue the tradition of delicious food and warm service that has made the restaurant one of the most popular and longest-serving restaurants in Virginia. As always, we have our loyal patrons to thank for our success. Cheers to all of you for making L’Auberge Chez François and Jacques’ Brasserie number one and we look forward to seeing you during the holidays.
Warm Regards, Chef Jacques, Paul and the team of L’Auberge Chez François

A Sparkling Holiday Cooking Demonstration and Luncheon |
|
How does one celebrate the holiday season in style? With plenty of Champagne and sparkling wine, of course. Chef Jacques believes that nothing complements a greater variety of dishes than Champagne and the menu of this celebratory cooking demonstration reflects the richness and diversity of sparkling wines. On Saturday, December 17th at 11:00am, Chef Jacques will show you how to prepare a delectable menu of dishes that pair perfectly with sparkling wines, followed by a four-course lunch with wines that set the tone for a truly festive meal. Bonnes Fêtes and Happy Holidays! |

Team Member of the Month |
|
Luis Ramirez has been working at L’Auberge Chez François since February 2004. He is a prep and line cook who, while being soft spoken, is always reliable. We can always count on Luis to provide leadership on the line. When others need assistance, they know to ask Luis because he is a good mentor. Many of the cooks look to Luis for guidance because he knows the kitchen like the back of his hand. Merci, Luis, for your many years of service and dedication. |
