Greetings from L’Auberge Chez Francois and Jacques Brasserie:

Summer celebrations and special occasions are up and running at full speed at L’Auberge Chez Francois and Jacques Brasserie. Drum rolls and champagne toasts!

Since June 18th, 2020, we have been open for lunch and dinner service every day except Monday and Tuesday with our “Celebrating the Classics” menu (check out our website to view!).We are thrilled to now offer, as per your request our very popular special events, including Music and Cuisine Dinner Series, Musical Brunches, Garden to Table Dinners, and Sommelier Wine Dinners.  Make sure you check out our newsletter and website for updates as seating is limited and sells out quickly. We offer our regular reservations in the dining rooms, under Le Grande Tente on our terrace, and in Jacques’ Brasserie and outdoor pavilion. (All of course socially distanced and more!).

Whether you have celebrated and dined with us once or many times during our 66 years since Papa and Mama Haeringer began our family business and journey from downtown D.C., to the “French Countryside” of Great Falls, we sincerely appreciate your continued loyalty and patronage. Below, please find all of our dining options in full swing (plus an exciting new Grande Tente and outdoor space).

Dine With Us Inside Our Four Dining Rooms
Be transported to France, as you step inside our country inn. Decorated with antiques from Alsace, our dining rooms are complimented with fresh flowers and views of our manicured gardens and more. Relax and enjoy in one of our four bright, beautiful and spacious dining rooms for Lunch and Dinner, featuring our “Celebrating the Classics “prefix menu. Bon Appetit! (Reservations Suggested)

Dine L’Auberge Chez Francois “Le Grande Tente”
Our L’Auberge Chez Francois “Celebrating the Classics” prefix menu for lunch and dinner, will be offered on the garden terrace in our grand covered 40ft x 55ft tent. Complete with plenty of room for social distancing, six cooling fans, cafe bistro lighting and pastoral views of our 6 acres, two on-on-site garden, koi pond and blooming flowers, our “Grande Tente” will be the perfect place for your celebration and repast. (Reservations Suggested)

Dine Jacques’ Brasserie & Outdoor Pavillion
The menu and décor at the popular Jacques’ Brasserie are a special tribute to our founder, Papa Francois Haeringer, who opened the original Chez Francois in Washington, D.C. in 1954. The décor you see in the Brasserie are part of the Haeringer family’s heritage and legacy.Our delectable a la carte Jacques’ Brasserie Lunch and Dinner menu will be both offered inside the Brasserie and at Jacques’ Custom Outdoor & Covered Pavilion. (Reservations suggested)

We encourage you to dine with us at our picturesque Wine and Beer Garden and at scenic tables scattered across our beautiful grounds overlooking our on-site gardens and lawns. (No reservations needed; weather permitting)

Bastille Day Recap

Our Bastille Day celebrations were a little different this year, but it didn’t stop our fun celebrations! Our socially-distanced outdoor festivities were a blast, and Jose won the waiter’s race for the 2nd year in a row! Special guest Napoléon, Neil Ruane, Export Manager for Boisset Collection Wines (in full costume), kicked off the race with the ancient art of sabering. The lively soiree continued in our lovely tented garden terrace with a toast our homeland’s independence and a six-course featuring produce harvested directly from our on-site gardens, kicked off by, of course, the French National Anthem. A great day had by all at this sold out event!

Complete with plenty of room for social distancing, six cooling fans, cafe bistro lighting and pastoral views of our 6 acres, two on-site gardens, koi pond, blooming flowers, our “Grande Tent” will be the perfect place for a relaxing and uplifting musical evening withfeatured guitarist John Sweet, served with with Chef’s  delectable five course meal!

A Very Special Summer Musical Brunch Outdoor Event
 
Our covered terrace will be the perfect place for a relaxing and uplifting musical brunch on Sunday, August 23rd, 2020 at 11:00 AM, featuring the music of James Jenkins and Pianist Rick Seracino, with over 30 years of entertaining sold out crowds. Be serenaded with Pop ballads and standards, radio classics, easy listening and soft rock spanning many decades performed by the talented Duo of Rick and James for an afternoon of great music and relaxing fun. Sundays are made for brunch!

Team Member of the Month

This month we honor Pascal Bizot as employee of the month. Pascal joined L’Auberge Chez François in June 2016 as a pastry chef and is key in creating all of our French specialties. We can thank him for the delicious chocolate truffles, warm toasty croissants, and delectable cakes and tarts. You can always count on Pascal to help out when needed, and in creating specialty items for special events or parties. Keep up the great work Pascal! We look forward to enjoying more desserts from you!
