Williamsburg Winery Wine Dinner

  • March 22, 2018
    6:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Please join us Thursday, March 22 at 6:30pm for the next in our series of Virginia’s Best wine dinners, featuring Williamsburg Winery. Founded in 1985 by Patrick and Peggy Duffeler, the winery is located on a 320 acre plot of land known as the Wessex Hundred, 275 acres of which are dedicated to the Williamsburg Conservancy and are intended to remain permanently undeveloped.

Williamsburg’s winemaker Matthew Meyer took a double degree  in Oenology and Viticulture at UC Davis, and worked at Grgich Hills and Heitz in Napa Valley before coming to Virginia. He produces a wide range of wines at Williamsburg, including the Gabriel Archer Reserve, and the Adagio, which won the Virginia Winery Association’s Governor’s Cup in 2014. We look forward to welcoming Matthew to L’Auberge Chez François.
