To our head sommelier, Alex Bardsley, the wine cellar is many things: gold mine, memory palace, and window on the world. For this event, he will take us on a trip from the cellar to the West Coast, with wines by famous producers from California, Washington and Oregon. These aren’t new releases, either: the wines have some bottle-age on them, and will be drinking very nicely having slumbered in our cellar for a few years. Alex will discuss how vineyard and vintage combined to create these particular wines, and Chef Jacques will offer a delectable tasting menu to complement them.
