6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Please join Chef Jacques and special guest Scott Pyles of Groth Vineyards & Winery on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 6:30pm to explore these fine wines from Napa Valley. The vineyard was founded in 1982 with the aim of making great cabernet sauvignon. According to Mercury News “it didn’t take long before the winery was catapulted into prominence: the winery’s 1985 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon became the first California wine to receive 100 points from influential critic Robert M. Parker Jr. The reserve cab was so much in demand that for the next several years, people lined up at the winery to buy it when the new vintage was released”. Groth Vineyards & Winery has been long synonymous with exceptional Napa wines, and we are thrilled to welcome them to L’Auberge Chez François.
