Love is in the air! In addition to being awarded the 100 Best Restaurants in America, L’Auberge Chez François was named one of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America by OpenTable diners. We are honored to be awarded this distinction for yet another year. A special thank you to all our customers for celebrating Valentine’s Day with us over the years.
Keep an eye out for the new menu at Jacques’ Brasserie in March. We will be
adding several new dishes, including some new vegan menu options.
We have a full schedule of festive special events for March, including a dinner
featuring the wines of Buena Vista Winery from California with special guest, The Count of Buena Vista – Agoston Haraszth. Later in the month, we will be partnering with Virginia’s Williamsburg Winery for a sumptuous wine dinner in our Virginia’s Best series. We have three musical brunches scheduled as well as our ever popular Wine Festival and Luncheon. Back by popular demand, will be welcoming back local singer and songwriter Shane Gamble at our Musique et Cuisine dinner. We hope to see you there.

Buena Vista Wine Dinner with The Count of Buena Vista |

We are proud to announce a very special wine dinner on Thursday, March 8 at 6:30pm as we welcome Buena Vista Winery. Founded in 1857, it is California’s first premium winery with a fascinating history. Today, the legend is being re-born under the vision of Jean-Charles Boisset. The Count of Buena Vista will be in presence, portrayed by Sonoma professional character actor and historian George Webber, whom has brought the famous founder to life. Mr. Webber will combine his historical and wine knowledge with extraordinary oratory and song. You won’t want to miss this one of a kind dinner! |

DC Brau Cooking Demonstration and Luncheon |

Look no further, we’ve found the pot of gold! Join us on Saturday, March 17 at 11:00am when we will be featuring local brewery, DC Brau Brewing Company. Founded in 2009 by Brandon Skall and Jeff Hancock, it is the first brewery to operate inside the District of Columbia since 1956. Chef Jacques will be demonstrating how to prepare a four-course menu, followed by a luncheon with DC Brau beer pairings. Guitarist Jarrett Laskey will be returning to perform his collection of classical and contemporary music songs. Williamsburg Winery Wine Dinner |
|
Please join us Thursday, March 22 at 6:30pm for the next in our series of Virginia’s Best wine dinners, featuring Williamsburg Winery. Founded in 1985 by Patrick and Peggy Duffeler, the winery is located on a 320 acre plot of land known as the Wessex Hundred, 275 acres of which are dedicated to the Williamsburg Conservancy and are intended to remain permanently undeveloped. Winemaker Matthew Meyer took a double degree in Oenology and Viticulture at UC Davis, and worked at Grgich Hills and Heitz in Napa Valley before coming to Virginia. He produces a wide range of wines, including the Gabriel Archer Reserve, and the Adagio, which won the Virginia Winery Association’s Governor’s Cup in 2014. We look forward to welcoming Matthew to L’Auberge Chez François. |

Wine Festival and Luncheon |

Our Wine Festival and Luncheon returns on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Please join us as we sample twelve wines from California, New Zealand, Germany, Portugal, and of course, France. Arrive any time between 11:30 and 1:00pm for a walk-around tasting of these fine wines paired with Chef Jacques’ seasonal canapés. Our sommeliers will be on-hand to guide you through the tasting and answer questions. Following the tasting, sit down and enjoy a complete luncheon of your choice from our four-course menu, paired with another glass of wine. |

You are in luck this March! Our guests’ favorite classical guitarist Alexander Barnett will be entertaining you for the second time this month on Sunday, March 25 at 11:00am. He will be performing a wide range of songs from the Renaissance to modern era. The soft sounds of his guitar and Chef Jacques’ delicious four-course menu paired with brunch cocktails is sure to make your afternoon enjoyable. Musique et Cuisine with Shane Gamble |

We are thrilled to be welcoming back local singer and songwriter Shane Gamble on Friday, March 30 at 7:00pm. With his guitar and loop station, Shane plays an acoustic set effortlessly balancing a mixture of Country, Rock and Americana music. In addition to playing popular hits, Shane will showcase some of his original songs such as “Turn My Way” and “Tangled in You”. Please join us for an evening of decadent food and live music! |
