  • A Very Special Iconic Napa Valley “Pahlmeyer Wine Dinner Experience” Featuring Winemaker Extraordinaire Katie Vogt
    February 27, 2025
    6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Please join us Thursday, February 27th at 6pm as we welcome Katie Vogt, superstar winemaker at Pahlmeyer, to present a tasting and dinner showcasing her stunning wines. Vogt is the latest in a series of impressive talents to make wine for Pahlmeyer. Since 1986, Pahlmeyer has masterfully crafted critically-acclaimed Napa Valley wines from premier mountain vineyards. We will discover Napa Valley wines of unparalleled concentration, complexity, and age-worthiness — the culmination of audacious vision and uncompromising craft.

We kick off this very special Wine Dinner Experience with a “Meet and Greet the Winemaker Katie” reception, with Jayson Sauvignon Blanc and Chef Jacques’ delectable passed seasonal canapes.
Sit down for an extraordinary Tasting Flight of three of Pahlmeyer’s award winning wines. After our tasting, we move on to Chef’s four course culinary experience, we have two more excellent Pahlmeyer wines, paired expertly by Katie and Chef Jacques. Finish with Chef Pascal’s special dessert created for this evening, a Strawberry Bavarian Gateau.

Through more than 35 years of winemaking excellence, Pahlmeyer has established itself as a paragon of Napa Valley winemaking, uniting tradition with innovation in every bottle. Rooted in audacious dreams and nurtured by meticulous craftsmanship, our legacy continues to evolve, striving to reach new heights with each vintage. Nearly four decades ago, Jayson Pahlmeyer embarked on a daring journey, arriving in Napa Valley with a bold dream and shoeboxes filled with smuggled Bordeaux vine cuttings. A trial lawyer by profession, Jayson, captivated by the allure of First Growth Bordeaux, was driven by a singular ambition: to create a Napa Valley wine that could stand shoulder to shoulder with Bordeaux’s finest. “All I wanted to do was to create my own ‘California Mouton’ – a rich, powerful Napa Valley Bordeaux blend, a wine that would drop wine lovers to their knees,” he explains.

In 2019, Winemaker Katie Vogt began the next chapter of the Pahlmeyer legacy, armed with a reverence for its storied past and a vision for its boundless future. With Katie at the helm, Pahlmeyer’s tradition of excellence continues, infused with her unique blend of passion, innovation, and expertise. Her winemaking journey began at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she was immersed in the intricacies of viticulture and enology, developing a keen understanding of the delicate interplay between vineyard and cellar. By 2008, she had risen from intern to assistant winemaker under the mentorship of maverick winemaker Christian Tietje in Paso Robles. Immersed in the art of blending from early in her career, Katie developed a deft touch for balancing varietals. “I get a lot of joy out of blending, of tasting a lineup of wines and envisioning what it would look like putting them together,”
she explains.

An extraordinary culinary experience not to be missed! We look forward to seeing you! Bon Appétit et à Bientôt!
