Calling on all Garlic Lovers!
Please join us for our first immersive experience, “Glorious Garlic Festival and Virginia’s Stinson Vineyards Wine Dinner! 6.23 Garlic Dinner

Savor Glorious local Garlic, (a culinary gem, with multiple health benefits) from Chef Jacques’ own garden and Virginia’s only major Garlic Farm, Snickers Run Farms. Dine in our “Top 100 Best Outdoor Dining Restaurants in America” by Open Table Diners.

Meet the Farmers, Peter and Kathy Durand, dubbed “The Garlic King and Queen of Loudoun County”, as they explain their trade secrets to the art and science of Garlic Farming. Snickers Run Farm locally grows beautiful hard neck garlic varieties using natural and sustainable growing methods for the most delicious tasting garlic and highest quality bulbs you can eat or plant. We start our Glorious Garlic Festival, on our Petite Terrace (weather permitting) sipping Vampire Killer Martinis (yes garlic is involved), and of course, celebratory Bubbles. Follow Chef Jacques, with bubbles, of course, to his gardens and garlic patch.

For the Grand event, we move to our beautiful covered garden terrace 40ft x 55ft Grande Tente. Complete with eight cooling fans, café bistro lighting, and pastoral views of our six acres, two on-site gardens, koi pond, and blooming flowers, our Grande Tente will be the perfect place for Glorious Garlic Celebratory afternoon and early evening.

Chef Jacques and team have created a delectable Garlic-inspired “Degustation Menu” for us this exciting day, of course with Garlic from the Durand’s Farm.

You will sip expertly paired Virginia’s Stinson Vineyard fine wines, presented by our Local Virginia Wine Grower, Rachel Stinson.

“Stinson Vineyards is a family-owned estate winery in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains specializing in small lot wines with a distinct French influence. The father/daughter team of Scott Stinson and Rachel Stinson was joined by Rachel’s husband Nathan Vrooman in 2015. They take inspiration from “garagiste” wineries of France, in both their winemaking techniques and the winery itself, which is built into an old three car garage.

The wines of Stinson Vineyards are enjoying growing critical acclaim, and the winery has become a visitor destination for its fine wines, stunning views, and excellent hospitality. While Rachel and Nathan are the winemaking team at Stinson, Nathan also serves as winemaker at the estate his parents founded, Ankida Ridge, and now he and Rachel help each other with their family vineyards while raising their two young daughters.”

We welcome back out local Award-Winning Artist, Rajenddra K.C. who will capture our Glorious Garlic Festival on site, during our experience Have an opportunity to bid on his painting at the conclusion of the festivities. (https://kcfineart.net/)

Be sure to join us and don’t miss this lively, delectable and enjoyable afternoon at L’Auberge Chez Francois for our first Glorious Virgina Garlic and Wine Festival. See you there!

Cheers! And Here’s to Garlic!
