Please join Chef Jacques and our very own Great Falls Garden Club Members as L’Auberge Chez Francois hosts a delicious and fun interactive Champagne Tasting and Floral Centerpiece arranging Experience from 11:00-1:00 in partnership Molly Finnegan, Regional Manager, Laurent-Perrier Champagne. “This sure to be very interactive event, as we sip award-winning champagne and enjoy the hands-on experience of the art of floral arrangement by our expert Local Great Falls Garden Club Team.

We begin our experience today by enjoying a tour of Chef’s Gardens, where you will witness of the beauty of the magnificent Zinnia’s grown right in our gardens and garden vegetables. The large variety of zinnia’s will be the star centerpiece of your arrangements today.

Guests will sip on delectable Laurent-Perrier Champagnes, enjoy Chef Jacques seasonal canapes and Pastry Chef Pascal’s dessert samplings, and make your own floral arrangements, while receiving expert advice and focused-flower arranging tips with flowers from Chef Jacques own Gardens with expert Master Flower Judge  Justine Harris and Master Gardner Candice Burt.

Justine Harris’s passion for floral design and gardening led her to enroll in Flower Show School where she became an accredited flower show judge 30+ years ago and also attained master status in 2000 after relocating to Virginia from Louisiana. As an accredited judge she continues to enter and judge numerous flower shows in the DC area. Currently, she is a member of Great Falls and Fairfax Ferns Garden clubs and has served as president of both clubs.

She is a member of the National Capital Area Garden Clubs (NCAGC), Landscape Design and Environmental Councils. She belongs to the Council of Accredited Flower Show Judges of the NCAGC, and now serves as president for 2023-2025.
Joining Justine, our very special guest, friend and Garden Club neighbor Candice Burt, a Master Gardner herself, will also bring her talents to today’s very special experience.

Chef Jacques, also proud member of the Great Falls Garden Club will be participating and designing his own centerpiece for today’s experience. And, of course, sipping delicious Champagne presented by Molly, along the way!

We will provide all materials, including fresh flowers, vases, scissors and the all-important Laurent-Perrier Champagne and Chef’s seasonal canapes and desserts.
