In 1976 Gerald Ford was President, a postage stamp was 13 cents, gas averaged 50 cents a gallon, and restaurateur François Haeringer (“Papa”) reopened his famous restaurant among the rolling green hills of Northern Virginia. This date also marks 67 years Papa and Mama decided to make Washington and Great Falls the location for their dream of owning a French Restaurant with a “nice atmosphere and good food.”
To commemorate that auspicious beginning 45 years ago, please join us Saturday April 17th, at 11:00am as we toast and celebrate our 45th Anniversary Musical Brunch Experience featuring the beautiful sounds of guitarist Jarrett Laskey.
Our Anniversary Musical Brunch will be offered on our covered garden terrace 40ft x 55ft grand tent. Complete with plenty of room for social distancing, six cooling fans, cafe bistro lighting and pastoral views of our 6 acres, two on-site gardens, koi pond, blooming flowers, our “Grande Tent” will be the perfect place for a relaxing and uplifting musical celebratory afternoon with Chef’s delectable four course brunch menu and brunch cocktails.
Back by popular demand, Jarrett is a professionally trained classical guitarist performing a repertoire of guitar music, including French standards, classical and contemporary songs. Bon appétit and thanks for helping us celebrate our milestone anniversary!
